About our Team
As part of our team, you will provide operational support to the journals stakeholders and suppliers and manage daily operations. Act as a bridge between suppliers and customers to resolve operational queries and involve suitable team across Elsevier.
About the Role
In the Journal Manager role, you will manage the end-to-end operational process of journal publication. Working on a portfolio of journals we aim to delight authors and reviewers by optimising editorial/production workflows.
Responsibilities
Providing first-line support to Editors, Authors and Publishers with queries on articles in the editorial and production process.
Monitoring journal performance through the entire end-to-end process of publication
Ensuring timely delivery against scheduled publication dates and other business targets.
Ensuring maximum speed and efficiency in the end-to-end process
Addressing content-related customer support requests and inquiries.
Requirements

Display knowledge of academic publishing, library sciences, and university culture.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Have the ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly

Able to work in the office in Exeter one day per week
