About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Development and Fundraising Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in establishing and developing closer relationships with alumni, the local community, and businesses, investigating grant opportunities open to the school and substantially increasing the school's profile and fundraising ability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to increase the school's income.Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, parents, local businesses, and other key stakeholders.Identify, research, and pursue grant opportunities from trusts, foundations, and government bodies.Write compelling grant proposals and manage the grant application process.Oversee the school's CRM database to track donor relationships and manage fundraising campaigns.Organise and execute fundraising events, such as galas, auctions, and donor appreciation events.Develop and implement a comprehensive stewardship program to nurture donor relationships.Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.Stay up-to-date on fundraising trends and best practices.Qualifications and SkillsProven track record in fundraising and development, preferably in an educational setting.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in CRM software and grant writing.A passion for education and a commitment to the school's mission.
