We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation during service hours.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Help maintain equipment and utensils in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting as a cook or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to help others in the kitchen.
