Overview
Actively seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s offices in Exeter or Plymouth. Main Duties
- Design & Modelling: Lead electrical designs for systems like lighting, LV supply, and fire alarms, producing detailed drawings and Revit models.
- Project Documentation: Prepare calculations, specifications, and tender documents to ensure each project phase meets high standards.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with architects, surveyors, and contractors, attending design meetings and progress reviews.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all work aligns with Health & Safety and quality assurance standards.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to monitor progress and maintain design accuracy.
Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years post-graduation experience in electrical design.
- Strong technical skills in Amtech Pro, Dialux, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; accreditation (IEng or equivalent) preferred.
- Proactive, independent approach to work.
