Job Summary
We are seeking a Finance and Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain Finance, including Payroll, and Human Resources records and provide support to the Finance Manager as necessary.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for payroll and payment of invoices.
- Responsible for maintaining all HR records, including information on starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, pensions, staff training and salaries
- Providing support and holiday cover for the Finance Manager
- Supporting with the month and year-end procedures
- Support the delivery of the finance activities
- Any other duties as required by the Finance Manager
Role Requirements:
- Experience in Xero finance software would be advantageous
- Proficient IT competencies, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Capable of delivering reports using Excel/Google Sheets
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport and trust with co-workers at all levels
- Ability to follow instructions and processes with efficient time management
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
