The Sportsman Gun Centre is the UK’s largest shooting sports retailer and supplier to the trade.
We are looking for an efficient individual with great attention to detail, who is able to work as part of a team & also confident to work on their own initiative to join our small, dynamic Finance team based at our HQ in Exeter.
Job Description
· Run daily financial reports
· Reconcile daily sales reports and processing on Sage
· Assist Credit Control team with debt collection & processing of payments.
· Assist with the reconciliation of sales ledger statements at month end & email/send out
· Assist Purchase Ledger clerk with processing of supplier invoices
· Maintain strong customer & supplier relationships
· Process interbranch stock transfers
· Supporting the management team where needed with the administration of office functions.
· Perform general administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence
The successful applicant
Ideally you would possess the following skills, however we are open to consider a more junior candidate who has the right attitude and personality, as full training will be provided.
· Worked in an administrative role previously
· High level of attention to detail
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
· Ability to handle multiple tasks
· Knowledge of Sage Accounts would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

Salary from £27,000 D.O.E
