We seek an eager candidate ready to begin a career for an independent sales agency, aiming to cultivate an outstanding reputation for customer service and expertise. We have an opening for a Trainee Sales Negotiator in Newton Abbot.

The ideal candidate will be driven, with a passion to learn the industry, enabling us to foster your development into a rewarding, long-term career. You will gain knowledge directly from some of the most experienced sales agents, committed to delivering exceptional customer service consistently.

As a trainee, you’ll encounter all aspects of sales, handling enquiries, scheduling valuations, listing properties for sale, arranging and conducting viewings.

Although we can give you the technical know-how, there are certain qualities that you will need to have to succeed in this industry. These qualities include:

Personality – You need to be enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Communication - You will need strong communication skills with a flair for creative problem solving.
Pride in your appearance – Looking professional and approachable.
Eager to progress – You’ll want to revise and pass your Propertymark exams as soon as possible.
Care - You will need to always care about the customers’ needs.
Confidence – Ask questions and don’t be afraid to say you don’t know.
Multitasker – You’ll need to be highly organised and write everything down.
IT Skills - As well as a PC, some of your work will be completed on a tablet computer whilst in a property, so the ability to quickly pick up apps and processes quickly is important.
