Overview
We are seeking a part time, experienced and enthusiastic charity shop shift supervisor. Undertaking both front and back of house duties, overseeing volunteers, and being responsible for the safety and security of the shop. Small amount of paperwork.
Duties
- supervise volunteers within their roles.
- be responsible for keyholding and cash handling duties.
- work within the linin and clothing department, prepping clothing and linens for sale.
- greeting and assisting customers.
- sorting donations, displaying stock etc.
- some light cleaning.
- overseeing collections of rags, rotation of stock.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the charity or retail industry.
- keyholder and cash handler experience
- experience of working within a volunteer working environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Good time keeping
- A commitment to fostering a positive team environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
