As well as daily administrative duties, you will understand and manage waiting lists working to meet standard NHS targets. You will be required to learn and use multiple computer systems in order to fulfil your role.
The post holder must provide excellent customer care which may include communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them respect and empathy and to ensure the professional image of the Trust is maintained at all times. You will be responsible for actioning all referrals received via the Devon Referral Service and liaising with the relevant booking teams to ensure timely appointments are made.
