External Engagement and Global
This new part-time (15 hours per week) post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis for a period of 9 months (term-time only).
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
The wellbeing and welfare of our students is of paramount importance. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact in the lives of our students, by ensuring they understand the extensive wellbeing provision we have across our campuses and how to access it. The role includes, but is not limited to, the rollout of the new wellbeing system, supporting the recently re-launched student wellbeing website, as well as communicating on all aspects of student wellbeing support.
While the role is solely focussed on wellbeing, the postholder will work within the Student Communications team. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the wider communications team, as well as with colleagues from across the University, to ensure students are kept informed and up to date.
To deliver this role you will need to have excellent creative, written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other colleagues and stakeholders, the ability to manage a busy and demanding workload effectively, and have a background in creating and delivering integrated communications plans across a range of channels. A passion for mental health and wellbeing is an advantage.
The role is available on a part-time basis for a period of 9 months (term-time only) from January 2025. For further information contact Jo Cole, Student Communications Manager at j.v.cole@exeter.ac.uk
