Ladram Bay is a 5* holiday park with a stunning private bay & beach surrounded by rolling hills, nestled in the beautiful quaint village of Otterton, Devon.
For our 2025 season, we are looking to recruit a Restaurant & Bar Team Leader; an enthusiastic individual to join our fantastic Retail team. We're passionate about creating magical holiday memories & being the best in the holiday park business, retaining that personal service that comes with being family-owned.
We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a strong team ethos. We often operate within a busy and fast-paced environment that relies on the ability to work under pressure & within a large team. We are looking for someone who can lead a team on shift, confidently deal with customer issues, & aid management team in day-to-day operational duties.
The Role:
This position is based in our Three Rocks building which consists of Pebbles Restaurant & Waves Bar, housing both our biggest food operation & entertainment facilities. We are the busy social hub of the park & boast a newly refurbed bar space on the bottom floor with a modern restaurant with incredible balcony over-looking the bay on the first floor.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Usual team member duties (preparation of hot & cold beverages, operating a till and taking payment; taking orders; delivering drinks & meals; clearing & relaying tables; collecting glassware; keeping work environment clean & tidy);
- Being an exemplary member of the team when performing above duties;
- Running the shift: main duties including being available for team questions, assign team to various roles on shift, deal with customer complaints in a confident, friendly & efficient manner;
- Other assistance duties such as putting away deliveries; team training; stock management; money handling (e.g. count tills) etc.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong individual qualities: reliable, positive, trustworthy, flexible & a team-player, with the ability to provide service in a friendly manner. Someone who is a role model for others & has a customer-centred outlook.
- Has industry experience needed (i.e. customer service).
- Has experience in the listed duties (preferred but not necessary as full in-house training will be provided for duties you are not confident or experienced in).
