Support Services Officer-Admissions

Salary: £27,253.00 per annum depending on experience

INTO University of Exeter is looking for a Support Officer to manage and coordinate our student admissions and enrolment processes. This role is pivotal in supporting student recruitment efforts and ensuring a smooth admissions journey from enquiry to enrolment.

What You’ll Do:

Coordinate the assessment of non-standard applications, making sure decisions are recorded promptly.
Oversee the admissions function for progressors and Pre-sessional applicants, allocating tasks and providing training as needed.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, especially during audits.
Act as the lead administrator for sponsored students.
Collate and deliver key management information to stakeholders efficiently.
Build strong relationships to maximise student conversion from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of admissions processes.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong IT skills, particularly in producing and analysing management information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work sensitively with people’s differing needs.
A calm, organised, and methodical approach, with a keen eye for detail.
The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, even under pressure.
