Support Services Officer-Admissions

INTO University of Exeter is looking for a Support Officer to manage and coordinate our student admissions and enrolment processes. This role is pivotal in supporting student recruitment efforts and ensuring a smooth admissions journey from enquiry to enrolment.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate the assessment of non-standard applications, making sure decisions are recorded promptly.
- Oversee the admissions function for progressors and Pre-sessional applicants, allocating tasks and providing training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, especially during audits.
- Act as the lead administrator for sponsored students.
- Collate and deliver key management information to stakeholders efficiently.
- Build strong relationships to maximise student conversion from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
- Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of admissions processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong IT skills, particularly in producing and analysing management information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work sensitively with people’s differing needs.
- A calm, organised, and methodical approach, with a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, even under pressure.
