The responsibilities below highlight what we’d expect from a team leader. Upon interviewing and phone screening, we’ll determine whether you’re fit to start as network build team leader, or network build engineer (until we can see value and skills as a team lead)

Responsibilities:

Carry out Test rodding and roping

Carry out Risk assessmentsAdhere to health and safety policies

Carry out SLG effectively and consistently

Communicating results effectively and accordingly to company SLA

Updating all necessary software platforms

Perform cable/sub-duct installation effectively and to quality standards

Know how to use the tools and equipment

Carry out A55’s

Reporting of near misses/accidents/lost equipment

Know how to suggest re-routes and carry out design change requests as per process (problem solving)

Know how to use PIA maps

Replacing of fibre equipment if damaged

Ensure vans are neat and tidy

Ensure following day jobs are prepared at the end of the day by updating tools and equipment on the vans

Point of contact for back-office, so effective communication is required

Accountable for the team

Continuous-improvement (training operatives)

Hold necessary accreditations

Carry out briefs to the team

Walking the route to confirm quality of works is to standard
