We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our dedicated team in Newton Abbot, starting February 2025.

About the Role:

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment where young children can develop their love for learning. You will guide, support, and inspire a group of children through their formative years, helping them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS framework, ensuring a child-centred approach to learning.
• Deliver pre planned lessons set by the classroom teacher.
• Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment that fosters curiosity and creativity
• Deliver developmentally appropriate activities that encourage children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Assess and track individual progress, providing regular feedback to children and their families
• Work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure that every child’s needs are met
• Encourage positive behaviour and create a welcoming atmosphere for both children and their families
• Contribute to the development of school policies and initiatives related to early years education

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with experience in Early Years education (QTS Required)
• A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• A passionate, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A nurturing and patient personality with a genuine love for working with young children
• Experience in assessing and tracking children's development (desirable)
