What You’ll Do:
- Lead with Vision: Guide your team in delivering a nurturing, child-centered experience that encourages creativity, curiosity, and growth. You’ll provide daily support, mentor your team, and foster a positive, collaborative environment.
- Plan and Implement Inspiring Activities: Design and oversee engaging, curriculum-based activities that promote all areas of development, ensuring they reflect the Kingwood ethos and meet the needs of each child.
- Support Families and Build Trust: Work closely with families, sharing insights and celebrating milestones, creating a sense of community and partnership.
- Uphold High Standards of Care: Ensure every child’s health, safety, and well-being are prioritised, maintaining a respectful, nurturing, and inspiring space for both children and staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Leader: You have previous experience leading a team in an early years setting, with a talent for inspiring and supporting others to bring out their best.
- Passionate about Child Development: Your enthusiasm for fostering young minds is paired with a deep understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum planning.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You’re skilled at connecting with children, families, and team members, fostering a warm and trusting environment.
- Organised and Detail-Oriented: With strong organisational skills, you manage the daily flow of the room, coordinate curriculum planning, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
