About the opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team and take on the following responsibilities:

Identify client needs and project requirements.
Research materials, equipment, and labour costs.
Gather quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
Assess project risks and mitigation strategies.
Analyse company data, exchange rates, and pricing using software tools.
Monitor project costs against estimates and budgets, identifying variances.
Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, tender submissions, and correspondence with suppliers and subcontractors.

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £48k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.

About the requirements:

Proven experience in construction estimating; formal training or qualifications are preferred.
Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
Ability to work clearly and accurately under pressure.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficient in Maths, English, and IT.
