Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, smart, friendly team individual to work in our housekeeping department followed by reception. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. As a Housekeeper/Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position is perfect for individuals with experience in the hotel industry or those who possess strong hospitality skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in all cleaning tasks.
- After Housekeeping is finished you will be in our reception area. Welcoming guests, answering phones, answering emails, dealing with guests requests, taking bookings, and general reception jobs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
- Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues alike.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow health and safety guidelines.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

This role will be 8.30am-5pm, 5 days a week out of 7 rota based.
