The Governance Team is responsible for managing and ensuring that NHS Devon has in place, sound, integrated corporate governance arrangements, policies, procedures and structures for ensuring that the organisation complies with its legal, constitutional, regulatory and risk management requirements. The Senior Governance & Assurance Specialist will play a key role in ensuring that corporate governance arrangements, policies, procedures and structures to maintain legal, constitutional and regulatory requirements are delivered through the provision of a comprehensive, high quality and efficient support and advice service; promoting, facilitating and strengthening governance arrangements; ensuring compliance and providing assurance as required; together with facilitating the operation of the Boards Assurance Committees and other decision-making meetings.
