Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organisation by managing accounts payable, performing data entry, and assisting with various accounting tasks. Duties

Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
Perform data entry tasks, maintaining up-to-date records in accounting software.
Support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
Utilise various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and Workday for daily operations.
Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Respond to queries from internal departments and external stakeholders regarding accounts and transactions.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is advantageous.
Familiarity with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or Workday is preferred.
Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A basic understanding of financial services and accounting principles is beneficial.
