We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. Duties
- Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Perform data entry tasks, maintaining up-to-date records in accounting software.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
- Utilise various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and Workday for daily operations.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Respond to queries from internal departments and external stakeholders regarding accounts and transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or Workday is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A basic understanding of financial services and accounting principles is beneficial.
