The Role: Online Customer Service Executive (Online Furniture Retailer B2B & B2C)

£25.5-£28k depending on experience. You must have experience of online retail at a head office level.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Shopping Support Executive to join our team as the key point of contact with our suppliers. This varied role will see you managing orders, supporting after-sales, replying to customer queries and ensuring a seamless experience for both our suppliers and customers.

The Role:This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in supplier and customer facing interactions.

Reporting into our Head of Trade, you will maintain and build strong supplier relationships while collaborating with the wider shopping team to ensure efficient workflows, timely customer orders, and smooth post-sale resolutions.

This role requires strong organisational skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management & Support

Deliver outstanding service through clear, professional, and proactive communication.
Oversee and manage supplier orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and seamless service.
Take ownership of after-sales inquiries, proactively resolving issues and making key decisions.
Work closely with the customer-facing Shopping Support Executive to address post-sale concerns, including damaged or missing items, returns, product queries, and delivery updates.
Identify opportunities to enhance supplier and client relationships.

Data & Reporting

Ensure timely and accurate updates in HubSpot, tracking supplier interactions and outcomes.

Process & Workflow Optimisation

Own and refine internal processes and tools to improve productivity and customer experience.
Proactively enhance team workflows to increase efficiency in customer support and supplier ordering.

Trade & Supplier Management

Monitor supplier performance and highlight recurring issues for resolution.

Finance & Payments

Liaise with the finance team regarding financial reconciliations related to customer orders.

Order Placement & Tracking

Placing customer orders directly with suppliers via their websites, email, or phone.
Keep internal systems updated with delivery tracking information, ensuring dashboards reflect real-time order status.

CRM & HubSpot Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer interactions within HubSpot.
Generate and analyse customer data reports to drive improvements in customer support and sales strategies.
