Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial spaces and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with established standards.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests with professionalism.
Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing demands within the role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £27,000.00-£40,449.00 per year

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
