Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial spaces and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with established standards.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests with professionalism.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
- Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing demands within the role.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£40,449.00 per year
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
