Long-Term Teachers is offering the right candidate the opportunity to work with a brilliant school in the heart of Ashburton, Devon, as a Teaching Assistant.
Role Overview:
- Assist the teacher with lesson delivery and manage classroom activities.
- Support small groups or individual students to enhance their learning.
- Prepare materials and resources to aid in effective teaching.
- Provide additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with children is essential, in education is a plus, but not essential.
- A genuine interest in supporting students’ educational development.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different classroom needs.
- Dedication to child welfare and personal growth.
- Enhanced Child DBS - Or willingness to obtain one.
