About the role:
We’re working with an exceptional special needs school in Okehampton that is seeking a skilled SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school supports students across key stage 1 to key stage 4, meaning flexibility and adaptability are essential as you may be asked to work across different age groups and classes.
The students you’ll be supporting have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, often accompanied by additional challenges such as autism, ADHD, attachment issues, or speech and language difficulties. Strong behaviour management, patience, and resilience will be key to success in this role.
