Salary: £31,650 - £43,606 (Pro Rata)

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher (KS2) to join a dynamic team at a vibrant school in Torquay. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact on the educational journey of children in Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing the academic and personal development of all pupils.

Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

• Deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons for KS2 pupils
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Support pupils' emotional and social development, helping them build confidence and resilience
• Work collaboratively with staff to promote a positive school culture
• Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and achievements
• Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of all learners

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• A positive, patient, and creative approach to teaching
