Salary: £115 - £145 Per day

Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with experience in Key Stage 2? We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Paignton, Devon. This is a part-time role with an immediate start, offering a competitive daily rate between £115 and £145.

Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

• Deliver engaging pre planned lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to pupils and the main class teacher.
• Work closely with the school’s leadership team and support staff to ensure a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a safe and respectful environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status is essential (QTS). ECT’S welcome to apply.
• Previous experience teaching KS2 is preferable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners.
• Ability to adapt and tailor lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Desirable:

• Experience in a range of primary school settings.
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
