Primary Teacher - Key Stage 2

Salary: £115 - £145 per day

Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with experience in Key Stage 2? We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Dawlish, Devon. This is a part-time role with an immediate start, offering a competitive daily rate between £115 and £145.

Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

• Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and the main class teacher.
• Work collaboratively with the school’s leadership team and support staff to enhance learning experiences.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential – ECTs are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience teaching KS2 is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners.
• Ability to adapt and tailor lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Desirable:

• Experience in a range of primary school settings.
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
