About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils, providing targeted support to help children reach their full potential. This part-time role is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule and a genuine desire to make a difference in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in their learning activities, both in small groups and one-on-one.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
• Help to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide support to children with additional needs, ensuring they feel valued and included.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress to teachers and other staff members.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working with children in an educational setting (experience working with children is essential - in an education setting is desirable).
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• Is enthusiastic and committed to supporting children’s learning and well-being.
• Has a good understanding of safeguarding practices (training can be provided).
• Holds relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential).
