About the Position
We are seeking a committed and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to become part of a lively school community in Teignmouth. Starting in February 2025, this full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to support children’s learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) 

• Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Offer personalized support to individual students or small groups, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN).
• Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
• Assist pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Prepare and organize learning materials and resources.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Who We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as an LSA or in a similar support role is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• A commitment to fostering inclusivity and ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.
