Role: Learning Mentor
Location: Plymouth
Contract: Full time
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30, term time only
Salary: £14.45 - £15.20 per hour
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people, particularly those who may have not had the best start in life? Do you have experience working with vulnerable individuals with additional needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Mentor to provide dedicated support to students who face challenges in mainstream or special school settings.
About the school:
This specialist provision supports students who have been excluded from school or at risk of exclusion. The school supports both primary and secondary aged students, so we have opportunities for both cohorts. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on core subjects, while also offering alternative learning experiences, including vocational training and outdoor education opportunities.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential, as the role involves transporting students to offsite activities.
