Position: Humanities Teacher

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for humanities? Long-term Teachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to start after the October half term.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in History, Geography, and other humanities subjects to students of varying abilities.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the humanities curriculum.
• Student Support: Provide academic and pastoral support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assessment: Design and administer assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

• A degree in a humanities subject or relevant qualification.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching humanities subjects at the secondary level is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
