We are looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant school community in Teignmouth. If you are passionate about supporting student development and want to make a real difference, this full-time role is the ideal opportunity for you!

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students.
• Provide high-level assistance to both staff and students, ensuring smooth classroom operations.
• Take on additional duties such as leading small group sessions and providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Supervise students during breaks and lunchtimes, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assist with assessment and feedback processes, helping track progress and inform future teaching plans.

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:

• Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver interactive lessons and activities.
• Leading targeted small group interventions and offering individual support to students.
• Assisting in the creation of teaching resources and educational materials.
• Supporting students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills.
• Ensuring that the learning environment is well-organized, engaging, and conducive to student success.
