Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a wonderful school in Exmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to support student learning and growth in a dynamic school environment, making a real difference in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities of the HLTA

• Provide exceptional support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Lead small group sessions and provide one-on-one support to help students achieve their learning goals.
• Work closely with students to support their academic progress and emotional well-being.
• Assist in maintaining a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supervise students during breaks and offer pastoral support as needed.
• Help prepare learning materials and resources to enrich classroom activities.

What We’re Looking For

• A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in an educational setting, preferably in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with both students and staff.
• A proactive, flexible approach with strong classroom management abilities.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting student development.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
