We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in Torquay. If you are passionate about supporting student learning and want to make a positive impact, this full-time role could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Duties and Expectations

• Assist in delivering, and evaluating lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Provide high-level support to both teachers and students, ensuring effective classroom management.
• Take on additional responsibilities such as leading small group sessions and supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Supervise students during breaks and lunchtime, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Support with assessment and feedback, helping to track student progress and inform future teaching.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborating with class teachers to plan and deliver lessons and activities.
• Leading small group interventions and supporting individual students in their learning.
• Assisting in the development of educational resources and materials.
• Supporting the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Ensuring that the learning environment is engaging and well-organized.
