We currently have a new role as a Head of Strategy, Planning and Efficiency to join our IT team based in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary plus a company car and excellent benefits.
About the role:
In this newly designed leadership role, you will lead the development and implementation of integrated technology, vendor, data and people strategies across all of Pennon Digital & IT. You will ensure our technology investments will deliver the maximum value and are fully aligned to achieve our customer, business, technology and cost goals.
You will also act as the IT Lead for the Clean Water business unit working with them to ensure there is a strong alignment on IT Service, Projects, Costs and Risks.
What you'll be doing:
- Taking responsibility for the overall strategy across the business area and designing and delivering technology specific roadmaps
- Leading the IT Efficiency Strategy and Action Plan
- Being accountable for Vendor Management and Software Simplification Plans
- Designing and embedding the Group wide Data Strategy and Operating Model
- Leading the IT Governance and Portfolio Management
- Defining the IT Resourcing Plan including internal/external/location mix
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience in a Technology leadership position
- Substantial experience in and knowledge on IT Efficiency
- Experience leading the development of technology strategies and valued-based project/portfolio governance
- Developing integrated transformation strategies across technology, commercial and people
- Driving and embedding Technology cost saving initiatives
- Ensuring Project and Portfolio governance
- Developing the Data Strategy including operating model
