Site Manager (Carpentry Background)
Location: Plymouth - Exeter - St Austell
Salary: £40,000 - 42,000
I have an opportunity for a Site Manager with a Carpentry background to join a business who specialise in bespoke residential projects throughout Devon and Cornwall.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead and manage carpenters and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship and timely progress.
- Quality and Safety Management: Implement quality control procedures, enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular risk assessments.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and manage procurement of materials and equipment.
- Technical Expertise and Customization: Utilize carpentry skills to guide the team, ensure precise work, and oversee bespoke customizations.
- Regulatory Compliance and Final Inspections: Ensure compliance with building codes, manage inspections, and conduct final project handovers
You will need:
- Experience as a Site Manager
- To have come from a Carpentry background
- To have SMSTS
