Job Title: Laborer
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Laborer where you will play a vital role in supporting various construction tasks. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic to assist in all aspects of construction projects. The position offers opportunities for growth within the company. Work is in varied locations throughout Devon so must have driving license and own transport. Own basic tools preferable but not essential. This is a self employed position and paid weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols.
- Support skilled workers including carpenters and masons in project execution.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Skills:
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
