About the Project Manager role
As a Project Manager, you will support the delivery of new homes for Teign Housing incorporating a mix of social rented, shared ownership and open market housing.
You’ll be working on projects in Teignbridge and surrounding areas and will be working with and assisting the Development Manager on the delivery of new schemes on time and to budget to ensure implementation of the development programme.
In this role, you’ll be managing projects from the completion of the legal aspects of contracts, to the achieving of planning permission, through completion on site to handover and defects liability period. You will manage with enthusiasm and diligence to drive and deliver the highest possible quality of housing developments.
About you
Ideally, you will have knowledge of project management with some experience in the delivery of high-quality new homes and be working towards a recognised Project Management Qualification (such as APM, RICS, CIOB).
You’ll have an understanding of the commercial aspects relating to housing development, along with an understanding of the planning system and implementing compliant and approved schemes.
As a Project Manager, you’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to work with colleagues and external teams providing effective and engaging communication and an ability to write clear and concise reports.
