The Forest School and Training (FS&T) pillar of The Outdoors Group has been a cornerstone of our organisation for over a decade, providing unique outdoor learning sessions and accredited training rooted in the Forest School ethos. As FS&T continues to grow, we’re seeking an organised and proactive Coordinator to manage the administrative aspects of this dynamic and expanding pillar.
Key Details:
Salary- £23,827 per year
Job term- Permanent, Full Time- 52 weeks per year
Hours- 37.5
Location- Hybrid (Crediton/Exmouth Offices and working from home)

About the Role:
As the FS&T Coordinator, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of our Forest School and Training programmes by managing bookings, coordinating schedules, and maintaining systems. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while supporting the administrative needs of the FS&T team. This role requires someone with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for streamlining processes to support our mission.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Handle enquiries via phone and email, providing professional and friendly support to customers and stakeholders.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage bookings, update records, maintain filing systems, and track attendance and payments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the FS&T team, marketing, and finance to align operations and support product sales and events.
- Coordination and Reporting: Assist in scheduling activities, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as OFSTED and GDPR.
Special Requirements:
- Proven Administration Experience: Ideally in multi-departmental environments or training/education settings.
- Customer Service Skills: Friendly, professional, and solutions-focused.
- Organisation and Adaptability: Capable of prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, and implementing process improvements.
