We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant in a varied role. - Part time - Varied hours.
You will be assisting customers with their enquiries and ensure that exceptional levels of customer service are upheld. The day to day duties will include till work, re-stocking & servicing and loading customer vehicles. Also keeping excellent standards in the Warehouse and Yard, and adhering to all health and safety procedures.
Essential Job Functions
- To increase sales within all areas of the warehouse.
- To provide excellent service to include advice in your specialist area as required.
- To assist other colleagues as & when required in other departments.
- Day to day duties will include till operation, customers calls, restocking and servicing & loading customer’s vehicles.
- Yard and warehouse layout: replenishing stock, stock rotation, taking in deliveries and loading deliveries out.
- Daily housekeeping duties.
Specific Responsibilities
- To focus on giving great customer service to all our customers.
- Assisting with all customer enquiries, especially in your specialist area.
Requirements
- Good customer service skills.
- Good product knowledge in your specialist areas.
Forklift experience / licence ideal, but not essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
