About the role
Do you have a little time to spare? Would you like to work outdoors, meet lots of people and gain a real sense of community? Then why not apply to join one of our school crossing patrol sites. You would provide an invaluable service to your community helping our children and adults walk to school.
If you enjoy the outdoor life this is the job for you (fresh air and sunshine). Get a real sense of being part of the community. Full uniform and full training will be provided.

- Biscovey School - 10 decimal hours per week, 08.25 - 09.05 and 15.15 - 15.45 (plus light time)
- Camborne, Crane Road - 7.90 decimal hours per week, 08.15 - 9.00 and 15.00 - 15.35
- Charlestown School - 7.92 decimal hours per week, 08.15 - 08.50 and 15.00 - 15.30
- Falmouth, St Francis CofE - 10.25 decimal hours per week, 08.25 - 9.00 and 15.00 - 15.40
- Hayle, Bodriggy - 7.90 decimal hours per week, 08.30 - 09.05 and 15.05 - 15.35
- Hayle , Penpol School - 7.90 decimal hours per week, 08.35 - 09.10 and 15.00 - 15.30
- Helston, Parceglos / Church Hill - 8.33 decimal hours per week 8.20 - 9.00 and 15.00 - 15.40
- Helston, Meneage Road – 9.17 decimal hours per week, 08.30 – 09.00 and 15.10 – 15.40
- Helston Trengrouse Way – 7.90 decimal hours per week, 08:15- 08:50 and 15:10- 15:40
- Helston, Redruth Road - 8.75 decimal hours per week, 08:15 - 08:50 and 15:15 -15:40
- Liskeard, OldStreet/West Street - 10.4 decimal hours per week, 08.25 - 08.55 and 15.25 - 16.00
- Padstow - 9.15 decimal hours per week, 08:35 - 09:05 and 15:00 - 15:30 (including additional time)
- Penzance, Heamoor School - 10 decimal hours per week, 08.25-09.00 and 15.05 -15.40
- Penryn School - 11.25 decimal hours per week, 08.05 - 08.50 and 15.00 - 15.40
- Poltair School, St Austell - 7.92 decimal hours per week, 08.00 - 08.35 and 15.05 -15.40
- Wadebridge on the Old Bridge - 10 hours per week - 08.10 - 08.55 and 14.55 - 15.40
- Wadebridge School - 11.67 decimal hours per week, 08.05 - 08.50 and 14.55 - 15.40 (including additional time)
- Relief positions - Area Relief/Flying Relief, County wide opportunities
Our offer to you
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Working Hours: Various as detailed for each site above
Working weekdays, during school term time only
You will be on duty for one to two hours per day
Contract Type: Permanent
