With thousands of cars taken in part exchange each year nationwide, Dealer Auction offers trade buyers/sellers the opportunity to buy and sell trade cars direct from franchised main dealers as well as Fleet and OEM. We offer dealers access to vehicles they wouldn’t normally have access to, through an easy-to-use platform that bids automatically on their behalf.
Our customers have all year-round 24/7 access to inventory, enabling them to bid online for stock they might otherwise not be able to buy. Using an intelligent bidding system Buyers can place a “Maximum Bid" on a listed vehicle or buy now and it will bid on their behalf. This gives Buyers the opportunity to buy a vehicle without the need to constantly monitor the auction and sellers a platform knowing the most eyes are looking at their listings.
Scope of Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Auction Assistant.
This multifaceted role involves ensuring the high standards of images used in advertisements, confirming product information with consumers, and providing excellent customer service through inbound & outbound communication channel.
It is imperative that we produce adverts which are of a high standard to ensure the risk is as low as possible for our dealers to buy stock, therefore ensuring the consumer can trust Dealer Auction as the place to sell their car.
Objectives for Role:
Image Quality Assurance:
- Thoroughly review and assess the quality of images used in advertisements to meet established standards.
- Identify and report any issues related to image clarity, resolution, and overall presentation.
Consumer Communication:
- Communicate with consumers to confirm the accuracy and completeness of vehicle listings, especially regarding any potential damage.
- Address consumer inquiries related to vehicle and process details, specifications, and condition to ensure accurate representation.
- Provide assistance and guidance to consumers throughout the listing process, promoting a positive user experience.
- Ensure documentation is verified and the correct GDPR guidelines followed.
Inbound Team Support:
- Serve as a key point of contact for the consumers, answering prelisting questions and providing relevant information to assist consumers.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for frequently asked questions.
- Work closely with the customer support team to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and rectify image quality issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with consumers and internal teams.
Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces is a plus.
Previous experience in customer support is advantageous.
