Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a new and rewarding opportunity in education? TeacherActive is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support primary schools in the Exeter area. As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality educational support to students and assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading small group interventions and delivering tailored support to students.
- Assisting with lesson planning and preparation under the guidance of classroom teachers.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs.
- Supervising classroom activities and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to promote student progress and well-being.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if necessary).
