Driver Hire (Torbay) is on the lookout for reliable Class 2 HGV drivers to assist our clients across the TQ area on an ad-hoc basis. In this role, you'll be delivering palletised or caged goods, so physical fitness is key as some lifting and manual handling will be involved.
Key Role Information
- Hourly Pay: £15.68-£21.13 per hour (PAYE ADV), with alternative PAYE options.
- Start Times: Shifts begin from 05:00, Monday to Saturday.
- Guaranteed Minimum: 8 hours per shift.
- Payment: Weekly pay for consistent income.
Responsibilities
- Deliver goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
- Provide a high level of customer service at each stop.
- Follow company procedures to ensure compliance and safety standards.
Qualifications We're Looking For:
- Licence Requirements: HGV Class 2 (Category C), Digital Tachograph Card, and CPC (Driver Qualification Card).
- Essential Gear: Safety footwear.
- Physical Requirements: Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks as needed.
