Teaching Personnel is looking for an enthusiastic Agricultural Teaching Assistant in Exeter to support engaging lessons in agricultural studies, environmental science, and sustainability. As an Agricultural Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students in classroom settings, focusing on topics like sustainable practices, food production, ecology, and environmental science.
- Assist with a range of practical and theoretical lessons, adapting activities to suit different learning needs, including for students with SEN.
- Provide individualized support to students, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Work alongside teachers and support staff to bring agricultural and environmental education to life.
- Interest in Agriculture and the Environment: A passion for subjects like ecology, sustainability, and environmental science, and the ability to inspire young learners.
- Experience with SEN (Desirable): Patience and adaptability to support children with SEN and tailor lessons to meet their needs.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to connect with and motivate students of all abilities.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with teachers, SEN specialists, and other support staff.
- Enhanced DBS Check: Required for this role (Teaching Personnel can assist with this process).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
