Wellbeing Co-ordinator/Activities Co-ordinator at Cornerways in Paignton. Full time hours to include some evenings and alternate weekends.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will work as part of a team to provide the best care for the people living in our homes and be a part of the next chapter in their story.
You will create, organise and offer a range of activities to stimulate the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of the people living in our home.
Working with our care staff you will encourage individuals to take part in organised activities and provide one to one support and support to maintain daily living skills.
You will collate pictures so we can share our stories and get to know the people in our home and what matters the most to them so you can support them in the best way possible, recognising their individual choice.
Every day is different and hard work is required, but each day, you will go home knowing you have made a difference to their lives.
You don’t need experience as we provide online training, along with face to face support, supervision and a full induction. As soon as you achieve your care certificate we’ll also support you further to progress within the home if this is something you wish to do.
What you need most of all is a desire to help, kindness and to enjoy making someone’s day that little bit easier.
