As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and friendly service, ensuring that all customer needs are met promptly and efficiently. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to facilitate smooth operations and maintain high standards of food safety and presentation.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Ensure accurate order entry into the system and communicate effectively with the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high level of service quality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of service.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
- Culinary knowledge is advantageous for making informed menu suggestions.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Catering for events may be required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £9.49-£9.91 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
