About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Incomes team on a temporary basis for up to 6 months as an Assistant Housing Officer. You will support a Housing Officer to maximise the income of PCH, while actively equipping clients with information, support and assistance designed to promote financial and social inclusion. Your role is to support the incomes team in the delivery of an excellent income recovery service.
You will do this by working in a way that shows genuine commitment to providing a good quality service to both current and former tenants. This will mean demonstrating by word and action that the views and priorities of current and former tenants are taken into account in all aspects of service delivery with which you assist.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
- Ideally has a background in benefits advice and / or excellent customer service skills with a diverse range of customers
- Has previous experience of housing related debt recovery
- Has knowledge and understanding of Housing legislation
- Has 5 GCSEs at Grade “C” or above including English & Mathematics, or equivalent
